Mel and Sharon Rossman opened a little hot dog stand in 1967. They named it "Peeps" and it became known for consistent, fast, and delicious food. After Mel's passing, Sharon took on the task of going it alone. Some of her followers refered to her as Mrs. Peeps. The students of nearby Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, IL. adopted Peep's as their favorite hangout. After creating wonderful memories for nearly 40 years, Peep's is closed. But those memories still continue today.
