Vienna Beef Camping Recipes

Now that warmer weather is finally here, camping season is in full swing! If you’re anything like us, one of the first things you plan out for your camping trip is what food you are going to bring.
While your home kitchen likely boasts everything you need for a delicious meal in a pinch, your camping kitchen is going to be much more modest. In fact, it’s very likely that your camping kitchen will just be a small storage bin or knapsack. You shouldn’t have to sacrifice on flavor just because you’re tight on space though! Below we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Vienna Beef products to bring camping. While some products require some refrigeration, they’re perfect to mix and match to bring different meals to life that will please anyone in your family.
Vienna Beef Sausages
Cook them over a fire or throw them in a scramble with some eggs, our Hot Dogs are the perfect way to add some protein to your meals without needing a ton of storage. Hot Dogs can add dimension to many dishes, especially when you’re tight on space and don’t have a ton of cooking utensils. The same could be said for any of our other sausages, like our Vienna Beef Spicy Smoked Sausage or Vienna Beef Polish Sausage, so don’t be afraid to mix and match for some variety during your camping trip.

Condiments
Let’s be honest -- most of the foods you might bring camping aren’t exactly brimming with flavor. Bringing a couple of your favorite condiments on your camping trip is the perfect way to add some flavor to your meals during the trip. Our Vienna Giardiniera goes great in scrambled eggs, on sandwiches, and even in potato salad and other summer salads. Hot or Mild is your choice! Or, you can bring our Vienna Sport Peppers for another spicy kick. We like bringing our Vienna Neon Green Relish to top sandwiches, wraps, and so much more. And of course, what are Hot Dogs without some classic Vienna Yellow Mustard on top? Each one takes up minimal space in your camping bags as well!

Mini BagelDogs
Mini BagelDogs need a bit more refrigeration than some of our other recommendations, so we only recommend packing them if you’ll have access to a fridge or freezer, or if you plan on eating them the first night. They cook up fast over a fire and are a fun treat for kids and adults alike!
