BBQ Kebob

  • 1 lb. Vienna® Spicy Polish, cut on a bias
  • 1 lb. Whole Button Mushrooms, cleaned
  • 2 Green Bell Peppers, Cut into 1”x1” squares
  • ½ lb Cherry Tomatoes, rinsed
  • 1 large Red Onion, quartered
  • 3 ears of Corn, cut in 1”-2” sections & blanched
  • Vienna® BBQ Sauce, as needed

You will need:
Skewers
Basting brush
Baking sheet
Aluminum foil
Grill or Oven set to broil
Serving: Makes about 5 skewers
Here’s what you’ll do:
Step 1. Assemble Skewers.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Skewer ingredients in the following order or mix them up to your liking: Spicy polish, green pepper, mushroom, Spicy polish, cherry tomato, spicy polish, red onion, corn.  Once each skewer is assembled, coat the kebab with a generous brush of BBQ sauce
Chef’s tip: If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water to prevent the skewer from burning while grilling or broiling.
Step 2.  Cook the skewers.
Grilling
Preheat grill. Cook the kebabs until the Spicy Polish is heated thoroughly and kebabs have some char on them.
Broiling
Layout the coated kebabs evenly on the lined baking sheet and place in an oven set to low broil. Cook the skewers until warmed and veggies have taken on color (about 10 minutes, time may vary).
Step 4. Serve.
Serve each kebab on a plate family-style (Careful! Skewers may be hot!), or take the ingredients off of the skewer and place on a serving dish and enjoy.
