4th of July Tips and Tricks

4th of July Tips and Tricks

Celebrating the 4th of July is synonymous with grilling. If you’re looking to barbecue this holiday and wanting some tips and tricks to spice things up, look no further! Below we’ve rounded up some of our favorite ways to take grilling up a notch and celebrate in style with Vienna Beef.

Soak Your Franks and Sausages in Beer
While Vienna Beef Franks and Sausages are already packed with flavor, soaking them in beer for about 30 minutes before grilling is the perfect way to enhance the flavor. You can either boil the Hot Dogs in beer, or, if you’re itching to fire up the grill, simply cut some slits into the Franks, cover with a beer of your choice and let marinade for 30 minutes. Your taste buds will thank you.

Add Celery Salt to Your Corn
Forget the typical Salt and Butter – adding Vienna Celery Salt to your Corn on the Cob is the way to go! Simply grill up your corn to your liking, apply a light layer of Butter or Mayo, and sprinkle Celery Salt on to your liking. Add a squeeze of Lemon to brighten the side dish up.

Add Sport Peppers to Your Potato Salad
It isn’t a cookout without a side of Potato Salad! But if you’re looking to spice things up this year, chop up a few Sport Peppers and add to the side dish. The chopped peppers will add a great heat and some crunch in each bite. Afraid you’ll make it too spicy for some BBQ guests? Just add a splash of the Sport Pepper juice to the salad instead!

Dress in Style
Even if you’re a grill novice, you can still look the part with our Vienna Beef apron or Weenie Wear Combo Kit!
