Halloween Recipes

There are just three things you need for a fun Halloween – costumes, candy, and Vienna Beef! No matter how your family plans to celebrate the spookiest day of the year, you’ll have a wicked good time in the kitchen whipping up these tasty Vienna Beef Halloween treats! Even better, your little ghouls and goblins will love helping make these tasty treats.

Spider Hot Dogs

All you need to make this Halloween version of pigs in a blanket are Vienna Beef Franks and some crescent roll dough. Kids and adults love this treat – they’re the perfect addition to any Halloween party. Here’s how to make them. 👇

  • 1 package of your favorite Vienna Beef Hot Dogs (We recommend our Franks)
  • 1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Your favorite condiments

  1. Cut each Hot Dog in half lengthwise, and then once again crosswise
  2. Keeping the middle intact, carefully use the tip of the knife to make 3 slices at each end of your Hot Dog pieces
  3. Next, cut the crescent roll dough into strips 1 inch wide and 2 inches long
  4. Wrap the dough strips around the middle of each Hot Dog piece
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a 400°F oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dough turns a golden brown

Chili Pumpkin Pie

This isn’t the pumpkin pie you’re used to! This dish adds a spooky twist to the classic chili with its jack-o’-lantern face. It’s the perfect comfort dish to warm up with after a night of trick or treating.

  • 1 package of Bistro Soup by Vienna Beef Numero Uno Chili
  • 1 rolled refrigerated pie crust from a 14.1 oz package

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F
  2. Prepare the Numero Uno Chili according to the package directions
  3. Coat a 9-inch deep pie plate with cooking oil
  4. Fill pie plate with chili
  5. Take the refrigerated pie crust and cut out eyes and a mouth, just like you would a jack-o’-lantern
  6. Place the decorated pie crust over the chili and bake for 20-25 until golden brown

Made from simple ingredients, it’s hard not to fall in love with these Frankenstein-inspired Hot Dogs. They might even be too cute, I mean spooky, to eat!

  • 1 package of Vienna Beef Franks
  • 1 package of your favorite Hot Dog buns (we recommend Turano or S. Rosen’s)
  • Vienna Chicago Style Relish
  • Vienna Yellow Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Mayo

  1. Boil the Hot Dogs according to the directions on the package
  2. Carefully char one end of the Hot Dog over an open flame
  3. Arrange mayo using a toothpick on the charred end of the Hot Dog to resemble stitches
  4. Paint a face below the mayo using the Yellow Mustard and Ketchup
  5. Dress the bottom half of the Hot Dog with Neon Green Relish

Ta-da! It’s ALIVE!
