Hot Dog Back-to-School Lunches

Hot Dog, it’s already back-to-school season which means it’s time to start prepping lunch ideas for your little ones. And we all know that sandwiches get boring fast. 🌭 Cheesy Everything BagelDogs 🌭

Vienna Beef Mini BagelDogs are great as is, but we want to share a quick way you can add an extra pop of flavor!

Ingredients: 

  • Vienna Beef BagelDogs
  • Shredded Cheese of your Choice
  • Egg
  • Everything Seasoning

Directions:

  1. Bake the Mini BagelDogs for a few minutes less than the desired time on the packaging
  2. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the cheese of your choice
  3. Finish the baking process
  4. Apply a light egg wash
  5. Cover with everything seasoning

 

🌭 Dip it Dogs 🌭

A lunch that’s easy for you and fun for your kid? Win-win! Instead of packing up a hot dog with all the toppings piled on, try leaving them on the side for your child to easily dip into during their lunch.

Ingredients:

  • Vienna Beef Hot Dogs
  • Hot Dog Bun
  • Desired Toppings (Tomato, Vienna Sport Peppers, Vienna Pickles, Vienna Beef Yellow Mustard, Vienna Chicago Style Relish, etc.)

Directions:

  1. Prep and pack desired hot dog toppings along with bun
  2. Pre-cook hot dog OR boil water for hot dog to cook in thermos

 

Hot Dog on Wheels 

Do you have a car lover in your family? They’ll really appreciate this lunchtime treat! It’s a meal that’s almost too cute to eat. Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

  • Vienna Beef Pups, or a Vienna Beef Hot Dog sliced in half
  • Hot Dog Bun, sliced in half
  • Mini Persian Cucumber
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Toothpicks
  • Vienna Beef Yellow Mustard

Directions:

Simply assemble your Hot Dog like normal and build wheels out of the Cherry Tomatoes and Mini Persian Cucumbers and attach to the Hot Dog with toothpicks. Just remind your child to remove the toothpicks before consuming!
