Chicago Style Polish
Following a career with US Steel, Victor Ervin acted on a suggestion that he try his hand at hot dogs. So Victor bought an old 7-Up vendor wagon, added a couple of burners and an ice chest and sold a ton of hot dogs. Working side by side with his young wife, Michelle, they opened their first hot dog stand in the Gary area.
From Gary to Las Vegas and back again, Victor and Michelle have continued working side by side, pleasing customers for nearly 30 years. The rave reviews for their Vienna Beef Polish sausage have been endless. Celebrities Jermaine Jackson and the legendary Muhammad Ali have enjoyed the bill of fare. As Victor always says, “you do it right, they’ll always reward you by coming back”.
