Fire Dog Stakes its first claim at the 2007 Taste of Chicago
CHICAGO (June 26, 2007) – If summer wasn’t hot enough, Vienna Beef is turning up the heat with their four-alarm Fire Dog! Vienna Beef will introduce the Fire Dog at the Taste of Chicago 2007.
Vienna Beef’s Fire Dog is a skinless, hot and spicy beef sausage made with a special blend of cayenne peppers and zesty seasonings, and for the 2007 Taste, it will be served with grilled onions, sport peppers and a choice of hot or sweet barbeque sauce. This spicy concoction will be available at the Gold Coast Dogs booth # 27 for 8 tickets.
“Chicago loves spicy and we have had requests from stands all over the city for the Fire Dog,” said Tom McGlade, senior vice president of marketing for Vienna Beef. “We thought the best way to satisfy the city’s craving was to introduce the Fire Dog at the largest celebration of great Chicago food.”
